Cristiano Ronaldo is projected to surpass MrBeast as YouTube’s top star by August 2026, with potential earnings around $99 million (£76.3m) along the way.
-
According to Completeaports.com, Ronaldo’s current growth rate suggests he could achieve the 210 million subscribers needed within 22 months, requiring an average of 6.5 million new subscribers each month.

Ronaldo set a new record by gaining one million subscribers in 90 minutes on August 21, 2024, with a total of 20 million subscribers joining on the first day alone.
-
MrBeast currently has 313 million subscribers, but Ronaldo’s rapid growth makes his two-year target to surpass him both achievable and within reach.
Cristiano Ronaldo is on target to usurp MrBeast as the biggest star on YouTube by his goal date of August 2026 and will earn approximately $99 million (£76.3m) in the process.
That’s according to data experts at Completesports.com, who have analysed the Al Nassr forward’s current subscriber growth rate and then calculated his potential earnings along the way.
On August 21, the 39-year-old started his personal YouTube channel ‘UR Cristiano’ and gained one million subscribers within 90 minutes of creating his channel, a new record.
A staggering 20 million users subscribed on the first day alone, a feat that MrBeast (real name Jimmy Donaldson) took 28 days to reach the same figure. The American has 313 subscribers, a target Ronaldo wants to beat within two years, and it is not beyond the realms of possibility.

A spokesperson for Complete Sports said: “Cristiano Ronaldo’s relentless pursuit to become the best football player of all time has been driven by an insatiable appetite to improve and prove the doubters wrong.
“Whilst he has minimal streaming experience, his drive and determination to win sets him apart from all but one percent of human beings. MrBeast has achieved incredible success to this date, but the current King of YouTube finds his position under serious threat.”
