Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has ruled out the possibility of allowing Keylor Navas to leave the club this summer.
The Costa Rica international has slipped down the pecking order at the Bernabeu following the arrival of Thibaut Courtois last summer and he is reportedly keen to secure a move away from the club so he can gain regular first-team football elsewhere.
Paris Saint-Germain are the side that have been most heavily linked with making a move for Navas, bur Zidane insists he has no plans to sell the 32-year-old. “I cannot imagine the team without Keylor Navas, I don’t contemplate his exit,” Zidane was quoted as saying by Marca.

Zidane has also dismissed talk that Navas has requested a transfer and he expects the former Levante star to seriously challenge for the number one jersey this season. “He has always been an important player for us. Keylor hasn’t told me he wants to leave. He is here and the outside is something which he cannot control,” Zidane added.
“He is happy here and wants to show that he can play here. He is a professional and I will count on him. Until matchday two he will talk a lot, but I know that Keylor is going to bring us a lot this season.”
