Maduka Okoye was in goal for Udinese who opened the new Serie A campaign with a 1-1 draw away to Bologna on Sunday.
Also in action for Udinese was Kingsley Ehizibue while Isaac Success was not in action due to thigh injury.
Riccardo Orsolini gave Bologna the lead on 57 minutes after beating Okoye from the penalty spot.
In the 68th minute Lautaro Giannetti equalized for Udinese as both teams had a share of the spoils.
In another Serie A clash Victor Osimhen was not included in Napoli’s squad as they lost 3-0 away to Hellas Verona.

It was not the best of starts for Napoli new head coach Antonio Conte who was appointed in the summer.
Osimhen is expected to leave the former Serie A champion this summer after handing in a transfer request.
