Chiamaka Nnadozie is full of excitement after winning the National Union of Professional Footballers (UNFP) best women’s Goalkeeper of the Season award.
Nnadozie was announced winner of the award on Monday night.
The Paris FC shot stopper beat Olympic Lyon’s Christiane Endler, Katarzyna Kiedrzynek of Paris SG, FC Fleury’s Chloe N’Gazi and Kinga Szemik of Stade de Reims to the individual accolade.

The shot stopper made history as the first African nay Nigerian to win the prestigious award.
Nnadozie took to the social media to celebrate the historic achievement.

It would be recalled that she was crowned the best goalkeeper in the French D1 Arkema (women’s league) last month.
She saved seven penalties this season, the highest by any goalkeeper in Europe.
