Rangers advanced to the first round of the CAF Champions League after they were held to a 1-1 draw by US Zilimadjou of Comoros at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Friday.
The Nigerian champions won the preliminary round contest 2-1 on aggregate.
The visitors frustrated Fidelis Ilechukwu’s men for the majority of the keenly contested encounter.

Rangers were awarded a penalty when substitute Ekeson Okorie was brought down inside the box in the 79th minute.
Kenechukwu Agu colly slotted the ball home to the excitement of the home fans.
US Zilimadjou however equalised six minutes later.
The Flying Antelopes will now face the winner between between St Louis and Sagrada in the first round.
