Former Nigerian international, Nduka Ugbade has told the Super Eagles to ensure they win all their remaining home matches against their Group C opponents in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Ugbade made this known on the backdrop of the team’s inability to win any of the two matches they played against Lesotho an Zimbabwe respectively.
Recall that Nigeria played a 1-1 draw with both countries last month to sit third in Group C.

However, in a chat with Completesports.com, Ugbade advised the Super Eagles to win all their remaining home matches and also ensure they get good results away as well.
“The only thing that we should be thinking about as at this moment is to ensure that we beat every other teams that we will be playing at home.
“The moment we are able to do this it becomes better. Nigeria is not the only country that has this problem, even Brazil too lost to Argentina at home.
“We just started our campaign and Nigeria should not be seen in this manner. The most important thing is that we still have some matches to go. At the end of the day we must ensure we beat South Africa home and away, then do the same with other teams in our group.”
