Marvin Zeegelaar’s nightmare spell at Watford is expected to come to an end this summer as he is reportedly set for a move to Greece. The Dutch full-back has only featured 12 times in the Premier League since joining the Hornets from Sporting Lisbon in 2017 and he spent the second half of last season on loan at Serie A outfit Udinese.

Zeegelaar has now returned to Vicarage Road following the conclusion of that loan spell, but he is not expected to be around for long, as Greek Super League side Aris Thessaloniki are reportedly lining up a bid.
Aris will be playing in the Europa League next season after finishing fifth in the Greek top-flight and they are looking to add some experience to their squad in the form of Zeegelaar, who also counts Ajax among his list of former clubs. Watford are not expected to demand too much in terms of a fee for the 28-year-old, who remains under contract with the Hertfordshire outfit for a further two years.
