Egyptian Premier League club Zamalek have confirmed the appointment of Jose Peseiro as their new head coach.
The White Knight made the announcement on their official website.
Peseiro has been without a job since leaving his post with Nigeria in March 2024.
The 64-year-old penned an 18-month contract with the 14-time Egyptian champions.

The Portuguese is making a return to Egypt having already coached Al Ahly in the 2015/16 season.
Zamalek recently sacked former Tottenham Hotspur manager, Christian Gross paving the way for his appointment.
Peseiro will earn $65,000 monthly in his first six months at the club.
His pay will be increased to $85,000 monthly from next season.

No wonder Egyptian footballers are not keen on playing in Europe. Whereas, half of the CHAN team that qualified Nigeria for the completion have japa-ed to obscure leagues and clubs in Southeast Asia.
