Wrexham co-owner Rob McElhenny has revealed that the club is in talks with Arthur Okonkwo on a permanent transfer.
Okonkwo spent last season on loan at Wrexham and was first-choice keeper as they secured promotion to League One.
The 22-year-old is now a free agent after leaving Arsenal following the expiration of his contract.

The Nigerian-born shot stopper has attracted interest from a number of clubs.
Asked on the possibility of Okonkwo rejoining the club Elhenney told The Sun; “There is a very good chance.
“We’re talking to Arthur right now, we know he wants to come back to Wrexham and we definitely want him, so it’s about working out the right deal that works out for everyone.”
Okonkwo made 40 appearances for Wrexham in all competitions during the 2023/24 season.
