Brighton’s Dutch attacker Jurgen Locadia has vowed to work hard and win his place back in Chris Houghton’s first team.
The former PSV forward was initially left out of the squad for the recent clash with Crystal Palace but ended up amongst the substitutes because of the late injury to Florin Andone.
He came off the bench to get the Seagulls back into the FA Cup clash with Millwall last weekend and he is hoping he has done enough to persuade Houghton to bring him back into the squad.

Locadia told The Argus: “We’ve got a lot of players and a lot of players with good qualities.
At the end of the day the coach has got to make a decision. “If you fall out (of the squad) you’ve got to keep believing in yourself, keep showing up at training and give 100 per cent and show that he is wrong. “That’s the only job I’ve got to do, to show the coach that he’s wrong.
We’ve got quality players, so I think it’s difficult also for him to make a decision.”
