Burnley striker Chris Wood says he is delighted to have reached double figures in goals in the Premier League this season.
Between New Zealand international Wood and his strike-partner Ashley Barnes, the Clarets now have two players in double figures in the Premier League for the first time ever in their five year stay in the top flight.
The pair have now netted more this season than they did last, when the Clarets finished in a Europa League spot, and Wood is delighted to have gone past the double figure mark and join his teammate Barnes. “It’s fantastic (to reach 10 league goals), its another little milestone for myself.

Having two strikers around the double figures mark is fantastic for the club. It’s put us in a good position,” Wood said.
The win over Cardiff means the side are almost certain to be playing Premier League football again next season and Wood is thankful of that. “We’ve had a good few weeks,” he told the Lancashire Telegraph. “It is nice to get three wins on the bounce. We’re almost there now but not quite.”
