Nigeria’s Super Falcons booked a place in the semi-final of the WAFU Women’s Cup following a 15-0 win against Niger in their second Group B game at the Parc Des Sports Stadium, Abidjan on Saturday, reports Completesports.com.
Cecilia Nku opened scoring for the Nigerian Ladies in the ninth minute, while Uchenna Kanu added the second two minutes later.
The African champions scored seven more goals in the first half.
Thomas Dennerby’s ladies added six more goals after the break to complete the whitewash.
The Super Falcons defeated Burkina Faso 5-1 in their opening game in the competition on Thursday.
They will face their biggest test in the competition when they take on Mali in their final group game on Monday.
Victory against the Malians would see them consolidate on top spot in Group B.
A top place finish in the group will see them face the second placed team in Group B in the last four.
