Former Zambian international, Kalusha Bwalya has revealed how Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala opted to play for Germany, the country of his mother, instead of Nigeria, where his father hails from.
Musiala was outstanding during Germany’s 1-1 draw with Spain in their second World Cup clash on Sunday night.
However, in a chat with SuperSport, Bwalya described him as a talented player that is blessed with quick pace like France star, Mbappe.
“His father is Nigerian, mother is German. Went to England when he was very, very young.

Style of play
As a versatile player, Musiala plays both on the wings and at all positions of the midfield. According to Hansi Flick, who gave Musiala his debut at FC Bayern Munich, “He has a great eye and feeling for choosing the right spaces. He is very confident on the ball and can play well between the lines.”
Early life
Musiala was born in Stuttgart, Germany to a Nigerian Yoruba father and German mother of Polish roots.] He lived in Fulda until the age of seven, before moving to England with his family, where he remained for the rest of his childhood.[8][9] He went to primary school at the Corpus Christi School in New Malden.
