Former Super Eagles forward, Victor Ikpeba says Chelsea recent struggle in the Premier League is due to the the Blues Owner Todd Boehly’s sacking of Graham Potter as manager.
Recall that Potter was appointed after Thomas Tuchel was fired as the club’s manager after a poor run of results.
However, with the team struggling to make the top four this season, Ikpeba in a chat on Monday Night Football with Super Sports, stated that Todd Boehly has contributed to the plight of the team.
“Spending huge money in the transfer markets without you having a stabbing manager won’t help the stability of the team.
“I really don’t think Boehly should have sacked Potter half way to the Premier League season because of bad results. Mind you, he sacked Tuchel at the start of the season and you don’t expect the team to experience balance.
