Arsenal new signing Ben White will reportedly miss the Gunners’ Premier League clash with Chelsea on Sunday afternoon.
According to The Athletic the 23-year-old has been ruled out with illness and will not feature for the Gunners.
It’s a significant blow for manager Mikel Arteta as he aims to lift the mood around the club following their humiliating 2-0 loss to Brentford last week.

That being said there has been some other news that might put a smile on the face of Arsenal fans.
Martin Odegaard sealed his return to the club on a permanent deal arriving for £30m from Real Madrid and Arteta provided competition for goalkeeper Bernd Leno by signing former Sheffield United goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale for an initial £24m.
However, it might be too soon for either player to feature today against Chelsea.
Club captain Pierre Emerick Aubameyang could also return after missing last week’s game with a positive COVID-19 test.
“Auba tested positive for COVID-19 and was unavailable for last Friday’s match at Brentford. Auba is now negative on COVID-19 testing, is well and following all protocols for return to play.
“He will return to training and be assessed prior to Sunday’s match.”
