West Brom’s interim manager Chris Brunt has praised Josh Maja after the forward helped the Baggies beat Preston on Wednesday.
Maja netted twice in the 3-1 victory at the Hawthorns.
The Nigerian, who ended his drought of eight matches took his season tally to 12.

Brunt, who guided Albion to their first win since the departure of former manager Carlos Corberán expressed delight at the striker’s impact.
“Nice to see him get on the end of it. His link-up play is so good, he’s an intelligent football player, does a really good job for the team and brings a lot of other attacking threats into the game by dropping into spaces and he did well today,” the gaffer said after the game.
West Brom moved back into the Sky Bet Championship play-off places following the win.
