Peter Olayinka can’t hide his excitement after winning the Serbian League title with Red Star Belgrade, reports Completesports.com.
Vladan Milojevic’s side claimed the title after a hard-fought 2-1 win over TSC on Thursday night.
Olayinka opened scoring for the hosts in the fifth minute of the encounter.
The 28-year-old scored nine goals in 32 league appearances for Red Star Belgrade during the campaign.
“There are a lot of emotions,I am happy, because we achieved our goal and won the title,” Olayinka told the club’s official website.

“I know how important this is to everyone at the club and of course to the fans.
“I’m also excited about the title celebration. I’m sure it will be great. I have no doubt that we are deservedly the best team.”
The striker also praised the club’s fans for their support during the campaign.
“I want to thank the fans for their support throughout the season and I invite them to continue doing so,” Olayinka added.
“I know it was not easy at one time, but we acted as a team and together we won the trophy.”
