Ed Walker says he has no issue taking his time over deciding Stormy Antarctic’s next target.
The six-year-old has had a fairly quiet time of it since his breakthrough success in the Craven Stakes at Newmarket in 2016 but showed promise with a Group 3 win at Dusseldorf on Sunday.
Stormy Antarctic holds entries for a number of big races over the summer, including May’s Lockinge Stakes at Newbury.

Walker says he was pleased with what he saw in Germany and will consider the options available before committing to any concrete plans regarding his charge’s next run. “It was great to get his season off to a winning start,” said the Lambourn trainer.
“He’s been an absolute star for us, and that’s his fourth Group-race win. “I think he was just a bit short of his very best and got a bit tired late on, which is why it ended up being a bit close for comfort.”
