Prop Adam Walker has revealed his delight at signing a deal with the Salford Red Devils as he approaches the end of a drug ban.
The 27-year-old, who has enjoyed spells at Huddersfield Giants, Hull KR, St Helens and Wakefield Trinity, was handed a 20-month ban after testing positive for cocaine and will be available to play from March 13.

Walker is delighted to have earned a deal with the Red Devils and the Scotland international is looking forward to getting his rugby league career back on track after a difficult time.
“It’s been a tough few years for myself not being able to play the sport I love on a regular basis,” he said.
“I was suffering from some mental health issues at the time which in turn led to me making a big mistake. I don’t want to use that as an excuse, I accepted and learnt from my punishment.
“In my time away from the game I feel like I’ve matured a lot. I honestly feel I’ve turned the corner.”
