Way to go? Thanks very much, coach. You did a great job yesterday.
White/Foreign Coach are the best.. I mean from westaholf, bornfree joe, GENERAL ROAH to Waldrum. Check them out mehnn.. They are good!!!
Onyibo man Shit no dey smell like perfume!!.
Hahahaha. See you grouping all of them together. Tell me, can Rohr ever say this? “We could have won 3-0 easily,” Waldrum told the media after the game.
NEVER. IF I HEAR.
Even before the 2nd leg when fans complained the team struggled, Waldrum was very positive in his speech, insisting his team will go away to win and he did it. He infected the ladies with that positive aura and self-belief, rather then taming expectations and giving the opponents a psychological edge.
While Waldrum admitted that the Ivoriens were a strong team, he balanced it out with a confident tone of coming away with a good result. He never called his team “young” and “inexperienced” (even though experienced legs like Oparanozie and Oshoala were absent). Your “GENERAL” Rohr would have been rummaging for such soft-landing excuses in preparation for a 0-1 loss or 1-1 draw away.
You can group Rohr and Bonfrere together (Bonfrere even won Olympics gold sef). But please take out Westerhof and put him in a different category with Waldrum.
Thank God also that Oshoala did not play.Dont know the aura she carries but The Falcons struggles whenever she plays. Granted she is the highest goal scorer in Laliga and was a super star in under20. However, she has not been able to translate that form into Super Falcons. Im really worried about her. Maybe the coach should start playing her from the bench in subsequent matches, let’s see how it’s panes out
She plays to the Gallery when she is playing for Nigeria. The pride is what makes her overdo and always mess up.
Up to 4 – 5 years ago, the Falcons played well and Oshoala was star- in goalscoring and link up play. She lost some of both qualities over time, playing in Spain. However, the Falcons have been set up very badly in recent years. We just don’t play well. And the coaches have ignored the strengths of the individual players. A good coach will identify the spine of his team set them up properly, and utilise their strengths.
The teams coached by Ismalia Mabo, played more coordinated, attractive and effective soccer, with superior superior results.
Rohr? Please remove his name. He’s not a great coach and did not win a competition for Nigeria. Amunike also has a better profile than him.
The Falcons played well. Ivory Coast FA no gree show match because dem no say our ladies go thrash them wella!!!!
Lolzzzz, lolzzzz. Me no care for Ivory Coast at all at all! Make dem continue cry crocodile tears. Lolzzzz. Carry go my Falcons. Lolzzzz….
Yet the falcons arrived 12am and were held up at the airport till 4am. Having done the nation proud. NFF needs to do better.
