Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets final Group B game against Togo at the WAFU B U-17 Championship has been postponed to Thursday morning, reports Complete sports.com.
The postponement was as a result of the unplayable state of the University Stadium pitch caused by a heavy rain.
According to the team’s media officer, Francis Achi, the game will still be played at the same ground. It will kick-off at 9am Nigeria time.
The encounter was originally fixed for Wednesday (today) at 5pm.

The other Group B game between Burkina Faso and Niger has also been postponed for same reason.
It will also played on Thursday morning simultaneously with the Eaglets match.
The Golden Eaglets need a point from the game against Togo to seal their passage into semi-final.
Burkina Faso top the group with four points from two games.
The Golden Eaglets occupy second position with same number of points but with an inferior goal difference.

They will be stupid if they don’t go for a high scoring win. Win the group and play against the second best from the other group to avoid Ghana until the Finals after qualification might have been sealed.
No, you are stupid
