Hmmmmm…
I think CELIN DION was right when she said;
…Speechless, hopelss; that’s how they make us feel…
It is well sharr…..
Nigerian youth football is dead, absolutely dead.
I wrote in November 2020 that we should not expect any good results from this present under-age teams due to numbers of reasons ranging from Pinnick selection of Coaches for the underage teams using Philip Consulting , (It took almost a year to select the under age coaches and this is what Philip Consulting in conjunction with NFF Administration could produce for Nigeria. It is a big shame for Mr. Mervin Pinnick and other administrative staffs like the secretary General Dr, Sanusi),late preparation of the team, poor camping arrangements and so on. Mr. Pinnick should know that the administrative scorecard of the under-age teams performance is being recorded for posterity and his performance since he assumed office has been generally very poor. Imaging all the under-age will all be eliminated from the preliminary round (WAFU zone B). I will continue to say it that this present administration has no plan for youth development. it is only about Super Eagles and the future of Super Eagles in term of Home=base Eagles is in serious jeopardy. That is why Nigeria has always failed to qualify for CHAN Nation Cup and when we qualify under Coach Sunday Oliseh we were eliminated in the group stage without make any impact in the tournament. Let me say this once again Mr. Pinnick administration is a bad Omen for domestic football development. (Check his records on domestic and youth development it has been always poor e.g Enyimba has just been bundle out of CAF Champion League by El-Merreck of Sudan 4-2 aggregate making it the third time none of the local club sides will qualify for the group stage of the champion league where South Africa Kaiser Chiefs has qualified. It is a shame to your administration Mr. Mervin Pinnick. Nothing good is worth mentioning under your administration in term of football success of any of the National teams except Super Eagles with no Nation cup to show for your efforts. It is a big shame. My advice is for you to sit with your other members and re-strategies to improve the domestic league and select coaches of under-age teams on time and based on sincerity and quality.

Talented boys will come to camp and they wont even let them suit up to test… they will drive all the talented ones home and pick average players from their owned football academies to expose them for foreign contracts so they could reap off huge amounts from their sale to foreign clubs… Amaju Pinnick is your usual Nigerian administrator… big grammar to cover obvious fraud and ineptitude…
Well stated. You need to have watched the game. Guess the lads didn’t gel enough.
….and yet some gang of thugs want the ONLY coach who is making any sort of progress out of ALL of our national teams, under this sort of administration and working environment, fired for no just reasons even while we are 1 leg into another tournament with games in hand…..LMAO. They gave us the most incompetent assistant coach we’ve ever had in the history of the SE and we have had more crisis in the SE camp in 4 months than we had in more than half a decade….Lolz. Amaju and Pinics…..sorry…Philips consulting, una do well o.
And to our progressive regressives, make una nor worry ehn, all of una eye go clear now now….LMAO
Dr. Drey,
You are absolutely right. I always like your sincere comments. Keep it up. God bless you.
LMAO… Yes fake drey, blame the assistants, because the day you will blame Rohr, may be that day sense must have mistakenly dropped in your head.
Wait Sha, did you point a finger at Amaju just now?… Hmm wonders indeed.
The result did not surprise me a bit. What do we expect from the team when players were hand pick based on connection and corruption of nff officers and players agents. I can categorically name three academics owned by ex internationals that many of these eaglets came from.
No wonder they want GR sack by all means. They kill our u-23, u-20 and now u-17. Yet some people on this forum who cannot see beyond their noses do not realize that this whole talk of GR must be sacked is born out of the anger that they cannot use the SE anymore as means of selling their players.
Yes. You are absolutely right. Corrupt politicians have ruined our football. The only thing that makes the whole world to remember us is gone. Shame unto them!
I always tell NFF truth. we have natural talented boyz but they are on the street playing, some dont have money to join academy or any Nigeria league. talented boys always come from poor families thats why they dont have money to bribe coaches. nowadays riches people pasuade they kids to play football, you cant give what you dont have
Watched the game and am sorry this team is nothing home to write about. Same as the under 20 they can’t take there chances. At least Manu Garba team was always attack minded, but not this ones. So disappointed. Our chances are just limited. We just need to beat Ghana.
Hahahaha… PLEASE O. Is this the same KENNETH always at daggers drawn with Drey? Good one Brother man. Watched the game too and felt so ashamed, watching a nigerian team play so badly. Losing isnt the problem, especially, it being an u-17 competition, but was just too far from a display of that rare nigerian talents. Anyway, this is one page we all supporting Rohr, have been reading ever since. Not saying Rohr is perfect but certainly the only air of fresh breath our football sighs at the moment, especially when mapped against present nigerian polity. I am very passionate/proud about everything nigerian, especially football and have painstakingly watched recorded NPFL matches, but really sad to say this, that from the football exhibited by most our local teams, you could easily see that our local league players/ teams are so badly coached; players not showing any form of discipline in their game, teams always in a rush, no build up play, no possession football to force control over opposing team and wear them down, teams losing possession almost every 2 minutes etc. Many of us fans as bereft as we are, we know these things, how come our local coaches dont know these very key aspects of team management and impact them on their team, beats my imagination. I have totally lost every hope on our football for the now. Just maybe we have enterd into a cycle, whereby the law of diminishing returns has set in. Hopefully it doesnt stay long before we return to another golden era.
Very funny, abeg o na new year, i call it the way i see it. Every one is passionate about there national teams bro. We all love to see them perform well. But this bunch are nothing to right about
The Sports Minister hss not reacted to the losses of the Flying Eagles and Golden Eaglets. He has no idea what psychological impact these poor results will have on other national teams.
all this qualifying is meaningless because fifa cancel under 17 and under 21 for 2021.
at the mention of fatai amoo CHIEF SEGUN ODEGBAMI started to dream of “fatai amao nd 2030 WORLD CUP” just to prove a SILLY point of HOME BASE POTENCY,i think some of these people are only rescued through playing football……….otherwise they would have died wretched as fools
The thing with Mr Odegbami is that he is a closet tribalist. In my opinion… This is not the first time Fatai Amoo is failing at a national assignment… all these analog old outdated coaches.
This is just a tip of an ice berg…..
This is what SE would suffer when Rohr steps down….
But but but…. Is this the FATAI AMOO our ODEGBAMI said would lead us to 2030 world cup???
Where is the team our ODEGBAMI said AMOO would give us???
Life has taught me never to brag in this life…..
