Napoli have allowed Brazilian striker Carlos Vinicius to join French Ligue 1 strugglers Monaco on loan until the end of the season. The highly-rated 23-year-old has yet to feature for the Italian Serie A outfit after joining the club in a 4million euros switch from Portuguese outfit Real SC last summer.
Vinicius immediately returned to Portugal with Rio Ave for the first six months of this season and he impressed with 14 goals in 20 competitive appearances.

As a result, Napoli have opted to recall him and offer him a chance to play regular football in the tougher French league for a Monaco side which currently sits in the relegation places, three points adrift of safety. “I’m so happy to have this opportunity to play for Monaco,” Vinicius told the Monaco club website. “I’m looking forward to meeting the staff and my new teammates, so I can give my best to help the side.”
