Days after officially unveiling the club to their teeming supporters in an elaborate ceremony at the Neros Stadium, Nanka, Anambra State, Vemard Africa FC have begun to roll out programmes aimed at standing the young club out amongst her peers and aimed at giving football a new image in Anambra State, Completesports.com reports.
First amongst such programmes is a scouting session which will be conducted by Atletico Madrid of Spain and Monaco of France scouts who are already in the South East State.
The exercise will hold at the Neros Stadium, Nanka, starting from Thursday, February 20, 2020.
Completesports.com understands that the scouting exercise will be preceded by a partnership deal negotiation between the Spanish Laliga side, Atletico Madrid, French Ligue 1 side, Monaco and Vemard Africa FC.
“We are working on a possible bilateral relationship with Spanish Laliga side, Atletico Madrid and French Ligue 1 side, Monaco,” Chidi Emmanuel Okonkwo, Chief Executive Officer of Vemard Africa hinted Completesports.com during the unveiling ceremony of the club.
“They will soon be here and we will then sit down and talk,” Okonkwo added.

The unveiling ceremony attracted top sporting personalities in the state including traditional ruler of Nanka, Igwe Godwin Ezeilo – the Obu Nanka, as well as Dr Pauly Emenike, Odenigbo Nanka who is the proprietor of Neros Stadium.
Former Super Eagles stars, Taribo West and Victor Ikpeba also graced the unveiling ceremony.
Vemard Africa FC played out a 1-1 draw with Enyimba in a friendly match to climax the ceremony.
The scouting programme will last for six days with 10 clubs in the state already confirmed their participation.
“It will take the shape of a mini Football tournament which is being organised by Vemard Africa FC aimed at helping the Atletico Madrid and Monaco scouts discover players that will join their respective clubs in Europe,” an official hinted C

Tagged Nanka Super 10, the six day scouting program/tournament will feature three Nationwide League One (NLO)/sides and six Football Academy teams currently featuring in the Anambra State Independent Football League, AIFL.
The participating three NLO clubs include hosts, Vemard Africa 1&2, Udala FC and Aspire FC.
Other participating clubs include Ozalla FA, Right2win FC, World FC, Rangels FC, Dynamic SC and Dosad FC.
The participating teams have been grouped in two, with Vemard Africa 1, Dynamic , Ranges, Ozalla and Right2win in pool A while Udala, Vemard Africa 2, DOSAD, World and Aspire are in pool B.
