Super Eagles goalkeeper Francis Uzoho is in boisterous mood following a successful surgery to repair his ruptured Anterior Cruciate Ligament, reports Completesports.com.
Uzoho copped the injury in Super Eagles’ 1-1 friendly draw against five-time world champions Brazil at the National Stadium Singapore on October 13 2019.
The 21-year-old landed awkwardly around the hour mark while attempting to make a save and was replaced by Maduka Okoye.
The young goalkeeper will miss the rest of the season, butb is now expected to begin his rehabilitation after undergoing the surgery.

Uzoho took to the social media to voiced out his excitement and thanked the fans for their support.
“And it was a success, I’m grateful to every prayer and good wishes said, even the hidden prayers on my behalf, I’m deeply grateful….Now let the healing begin. IN CHRIST ALONE,” Uzoho wrote on his Instagram page.
He is on loan at Cypriot club, Omonia Nicosia from Spanish side, Deportivo La Coruna.
