Super Eagles goalkeeper Francis Uzoho will remain at Omonia Nicosia until 2027 after signing a new four-year contract at the Cypriot club.
The shot stopper’s previous contract was due to expire at the end of the current campaign.
Omonia Nicosia made the announcement on their official website on Wednesday.
“We reached an agreement with Francis Uzoho to extend our cooperation,” reads a statement on the club’s official website.
“The new contract runs until May 2027.
Francis Uzoho made 43 appearances for OMONIAS and had a significant contribution to the successes of recent years inside and outside Cyprus.
“We congratulate Francis on his new contract and wish him even more success with the shamrock on his chest.”
The 24-year-old linked up with Omonia from rivals APOEL Nicosia in 2021.
He was in goal in Nigeria’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sao Tome and Principe last weekend.
