Francis Uzoho and Apoel Nicosia have parted ways by mutual consent, the Cypriot club has announced, reports Completesports.com.
The Nigeria international linked up with Apoel Nicosia from Spanish club Deportivo La Coruna last summer.
The 22-year-old made 19 league appearances for The Legend.
While no reason was given for the mutual termination of the contract, the club wished Uzoho all the best for the future.

“We wish Francis good luck.”
Uzoho is currently in Nigeria’s camp ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying fixtures against Lone Stars of Liberia and Blue Sharks of Cape Verde.

He is moving to a bigger club soon…. Nigerian players like to underate themselves by going to mushroom clubs….. thank God Rhor has opened their eyes now and he has challenged them to tryout in difficult leagues in Europe……more to come
Bizzare…!
Moving to bigger club when the transfer window has been shut.Hmmmmn we wait to see!
I believe once your contract has been (mutually?) terminated, you become free and can sign with any club at any time.
@Dr Drey can you confirm this, or shed more light on it?
DiMastta is correct. But that “any time” caveat is what i cant confirm. I know most leagues have a deadline for registration of players signed on free transfers….I think October or thereabout for those signed after summer window and March ending or thereabout for those signed after the winter window.
But once your contract is terminated, you become as free as a bird to fly anywhere yuo wish to.
