Heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk has attributed Anthony Joshua’s loss to Daniel Dubois to his poor footwork during the IBF heavyweight title fight on Saturday.
The 34-year-old, who has now suffered four defeats in his professional career, struggled to get to grips with Dubois’ power, although he momentarily wobbled his opponent in the fifth round, just moments before he got caught on the counter.

In his reaction after the fight, Usyk, who has beaten Joshua on two occasions, believes the biggest flaw in his defeat to Dubois was his poor movement in the ring.
‘Not shocked because it’s boxing. Daniel Dubois today was better.
‘Anthony had one problem because this position [leaning back] is dangerous.”
