The USA senior men’s basketball team began their preparation for the Paris 2024 Olympic basketball tournament victoriously after defeating Canada 86-72 in an exhibition game in Las Vegas, Completesports.com reports.
The game played in the early hours of Thursday, July 11 [Nigerian time] saw Anthony Davis lead the way for Team USA, finishing the game with 10 points, 11 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, 4 blocks, and a game-high 22 EFF.
Also, Steph Curry added 12 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists, and 16 EFF to secure the win for his team.
Team USA began the first quarter on a slow start losing 14-21 but stepped up in the second quarter with an 8- margin gap, 41-33.

The Americans finished the third quarter on a 9-0 run to gain a 15-point lead (69-54) while throughout the fourth quarter, Team USA maintained a safe lead and celebrated a convincing victory.
RJ Barrett was the top performer for Canada, finishing the game with 12 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 turnover, and 12 EFF.
