Manchester United are preparing a new improved bid for Crystal Palace right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka, but will have to get closer to £60million. United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reported to have failed with an initial £40m bid last week for the player, who Palace value at closer to £60m.

However, the Reds will not give up in their pursuit of the player and it is thought they will eventually win the day and get Wan-Bissaka on board at Old Trafford. United are keen to land a long-term successor for Antonio Valencia and have identified the talented Eagles full-back as the best man for the job.
It promises to be a busy couple of months for the Reds as reports are linking them with moves for several big names including Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak and midfielder Rodri, plus the £60m signing of Bruno Fernandes from Sporting. Leicester duo Harry Maguire and James Maddison are also reported to be targets as Solskjaer looks to revamp his squad.
