Union Berlin manager Urs Fischer has backed Taiwo Awoniyi to hit top form for the club again after his recent struggles in front of goal.
Awoniyi has scored 14 goals in 27 appearances across all competitions for Union Berlin this season.
The Nigeria international has however managed just two goals in his last 10 matches for the club.

Fischer stated that the 25–year-old may have suffered from playing too many games in the opening months of the campaign.
“It was also a completely new experience for him to play so many games in a row in half a season, the gaffer told bz-berlin.de.
” He got off to a really great start and suffered a bit towards the end. Taiwo was maybe a bit overplayed, but we still needed him. ”
Awoniyi linked up with the Iron from Liverpool this summer in a deal worth €6.m.
