Destiny Udogie is delighted to work with new Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange
Postecoglou.
The Nigerian-born defender signed in a deal worth up to £20 million from Udinese last summer.
Udogie was however loaned back to the Zebras for the 2022/23 campaign.
“Almost every Premier League game, I was watching them,” said the 20-year-old Udogie.

“I like his idea of football,” added Udogie on boss Ange Postecoglou.
“He wants to play football with the ball. Wants to have the ball. I feel like this is going to be a good season for us. We’re going to play good football.
“I know it is a big league, a very challenging league. I’m ready, I have confidence, I feel ready.”

DESTINY UDOJIE NFF GO AND CONVINCE THIS BOY TO TURN UP FOR HIS FATHER LAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Convince this and beg that, I beg let this players decide by themself, most we beg and force them?
Lol..I tire o my Brother @FEMI don’t mind @UGO IWUNZE he wants all the PLAYERS with NIGERIAN ROOTS in the whole PLANET to be INVITED..lol..which is not POSSIBLE..
The ones wey dey on groun never GELL WELL…
@Femi And @MOCKERY POST. I have been clamouring for Destiny Udogie for a while now. its no secrect. so I am not sure what you people are on about.
Go and relook post. If this is the first time you have heard of Udogie then you are just as clueless as the Crooks in the Glass House.
Begging will not change a professional player’s mind. You might as well go to a bank and beg the manager to give you a loan. Or beg a pretty woman who doesn’t know you to marry you.
Love of Nigeria can do it, as in the case of some players like Alaba, who was not given a chance. However, in most cases, regular contact and good administration is what changes players minds.
When you contact a player regularly, the player feels needed. That alone can eventually change most players minds in your direction.
Udogie on current form is the kind of player we need to beef up the squad.
Any players out there with Nigerian roots WHO IS SHOWING QUALITY should always be looked at as a potential SE player. Especially young guys. Try them out in friendlies, and gradually integrate them into the main team, IF THEY PROVE THEMSELVES.
Remember that strong benches win tournaments. We are not saying Udogie should be in the starting eleven. But on current form, Udogie in the team definitely makes the team better.
@Pompei don’t try and convince these lots. I have used the same analogy countless occasions dem no go hear word.
