Bright Osayi-Samuel was in action for Fenerbahce who edged Swiss club Lugano 4-3 away in the UEFA Champions League first leg, second round tie on Tuesday.
Osayi-Samuel was in the starting eleven before he was replaced on 68 minutes by new Fenerbahce coach Jose Mourinho.
Former Manchester City and Inter Milan striker Edin Dzeko bagged a hat-trick for the Turkish giants.
Lugano got off to a good start as Ayman El Wafi gave them the lead on four minutes.
One minute into first half stoppage time Dzeko drew Fenerbahce level and got his second goal to put his side 2-1 up on 46 minutes.
In the 64th minute Uran Bislimi equalised to make it 2-2 but just three minutes later Dzeko completed his hat-trick and put Fenerbahce 3-2 ahead.
In the 74th minute Ferdi Kadioglu scored to make it 4-2 but in the 94th minute Milton Valenzuela got on the score sheet to end the tie 4-3.
