Jack Grealish has said Manchester City’s plan was to try and get a win against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu on Tuesday night.
City came from a goal down to hold Madrid to a 1-1 draw in the Champions League semi-final first leg.
Brazil forward Vinicius Junior gave Madrid a first half lead with a stunning goal from outside the box.
Kevin De Bruyne equalised for City with a superb strike also from outside the penalty area.

Reflecting on the game, Grealish described the first leg outcome as a fair result.
“We came here tonight to try and win, but I think it shows our character to go a goal down and come back. In the end it was a fair result,” he told BT Sport.
The England international expressed confidence that City should be favourite for the second leg following their impressive form at the Etihad.
“At the Etihad at the moment we feel unstoppable,” Grealish added.
City are now unbeaten in 21 games in all competitions as they chase a treble of Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League.
