Victor Osimhen was in action for Napoli who lost 4-2 away to Real Madrid at the Bernabeu in Group C of the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night.
Osimhen came on for Giovanni Simeone before the start of the second half and even had the ball in the back of the net which was ruled out for offside.
Despite the loss to Madrid, Napoli could still qualify for the round of 16.
The Serie A champions are on seven points and SC Braga sit in third place on four.
All Napoli need is a point against Braga in their final group game to be sure of qualification for the Round of 16.
In fact, even a defeat might be sufficient, as long as it is only by one clear goal, because they won 2-1 in Portugal back on September 20.
If the two teams therefore finish on an identical head-to-head record, it goes to overall goal difference, where Napoli have the advantage.
Napoli had a good start against Madrid as Simeone opened the scoring in the 9th minute.
But Rodrygo made it 1-1 on 11 minutes before Jude Bellingham added the second on 22 minutes.
Three minutes into the second half Zambo Anguissa drew Napoli level.
However, Paz Martinez and Joselu netted on 84 and 94 minutes to give Madrid the win.
In Group B Arsenal thrashed Lens 6-0 at the Emirates to finish as leaders and a place in the round of 16 with a game to spare.
