Victor Osimhen was on target as Napoli defeated SC Braga 2-0 to secure a place in the Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League.
It ended a run of three consecutive defeats under new coach Walter Mazzarri.
Osimhen was named in the starting line-up despite being in Morocco on Monday night to pick his African Player of the Year award.
Braga put through their own net on nine minutes.

Matteo Politano got down the right and tried to pull back low for Osimhen, but instead Serdar Saatci deflected the ball into his own net.
Napoli added the second three minutes after the hour mark through Victor Osimhen.
Left-back Natan surged forward and rolled across, where Osimhen’s attempted back-heel flick ended up ricocheting into the net off his other foot.
It was Osimhen’s first goal in the UEFA Champions League this season.
He has so far scored eight goal in 15 appearances across all competitions for the Serie A champions this season.
Napoli finished in second position in the group behind Real Madrid.
