Napoli manager Walter Mazzarri claimed Victor Osimhen is not fit enough to play 90 minutes football at the moment.
Osimhen sustained a hamstring injury on international duty last month and only returned to action last weekend after missing six games for the Serie A champions.
The Partenopei will face Real Madrid in a UEFA Champions League clash at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday (today) with Mazzarri’s side needing a win to confirm their place in the Round of 16.
Having the Nigeria international available is a big boost for Napoli especially with his impact in Saturday’s 2-1 victory at Atalanta, where he grabbed an assist.
Mazzarri however stated he will make a decision on whether to start the 24-year-old on the eve of the game.

“Let’s wait until tomorrow. I need to talk to everyone. He (Osimhen )certainly doesn’t have 90 minutes in his legs, we’ll see if he starts or comes off the bench,” Mazarri told a press conference.
“We will try to secure our place in the Round of 16 tomorrow, otherwise we cannot get the final game wrong.”
The forward has made two appearances in the Champions League this season without a goal to his name.
He scored five goals in six appearances in the competition last season.
