Nigeria forward Victor Olatunji was the hero as Sparta Prague’s defeated RB Salzburg 3-0 in their UEFA Champions League contest on Wednesday.
Olatunji made history as the first Nigerian to register a goal and an assist on his Champions League debut.
The 25-year-old is also the third African to achieve the feat following the footsteps of Gabon’s Daniel Cousin and Serge Aurier.

Talents abound in Europe for Nigeria. Nigeria just need grade ‘A’ coach and that’s all with maximum support from NFF
I prefer Olatunji to Arokodhino by far.
Thumbs up brotherman @Chima. Olatunji is far better than Arokodare.
I’ve been watching this guy for some time now.
Interesting that he is not even on the radar of SE coaches, with the striker positions being so competitive! But it might be good to give him a chance in a friendly. See what he’s about.
WE NEED FRIENDLIES.
In addition to using friendlies to try players, I want to see how Ogun Efon copes against tactically sound coaches. If he’s to continue on the job, then we need to start pitting him against quality, well coached sides.
That’s how we can know for sure if he’s up to the task.
