Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has offered an explanation on how his team prevented Napoli forward Victor Osimhen from scoring in their UEFA Champions League clash on Tuesday.
The Los Blancos defeated their hosts 3-2 at the Estadio Diego Armando Maradona.
Osimhen won the penalty for Napoli’s first goal and had a goal bound header palmed away by Kepa Arizzabalaga in the first half.
The 24-year-old was however prevented from getting a goal in the game.

The experienced tactician said he detailed two players to mark the striker during the game.
“We wanted to be two against one with him (Osimhen), the central defenders did very well and didn’t give him any space behind them,”Ancelotti said during his interaction with the media.
“Against Osimhen, it’s difficult not to suffer, especially on aerial balls, but we did well.”
The Nigerian scored five goals for Napoli in the UEFA Champions last season.
He is however yet to open his goal account for the Serie A champions in the competition this season.
