Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana believes that the Nerazurri will overcome Manchester City in the final of the 2022/23 UEFA Champions League on Saturday, June 10 at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium.
Inter could get a double with the trophy while City are poised to secure a treble if they win the Champions League.
Speaking to TMW, Onana posited that history will remember whoever clinched the title.
“On Saturday we will play an important game against the team that is probably the best in the world, but we are Inter,” Onana said
“It’s like what we went through at the beginning of the year, we started badly and now we are in the Champions League final.
“And finals are not played they are won. Because history always remembers who won and that’s why we will go to Istanbul to win.”
Onana has made 12 appearances in the Champions League this season.
Inter Milan have won the Champions League three times (1963/64, 1964/65, 2009/10) while Manchester City have never won the Champions League trophy.
