No Comfort Folorunsho and (yet again) no Chinyere Kalu?! Anyway, in Danjuma we trust. GOOD LUCK GIRLS!!
What does Folorunsho bring to the table that other selected players cannot produce? Without Chinyere Kalu the navigated the previous round which begs the question : what is the big deal?
This is a list of capable players that are able to get the job done!
@deo, it seems you’re one of those folks who seek self-worth by looking to “win” fights against faceless folks on the Internet…LMAO
If you actually have the capacity for elementary comprehension, you would’ve been able to grasp the expression of trust in the coach’s selection. Nonetheless, since you asked, Comfort Folorunsho “brings to the table” Super Falcons’ competitive appearance experience that none of the other defenders have (meanwhile, less prominent, Chinyere Kalu nonetheless is made Best XI of the Group Stages at the U20 WAFU B Cup).
This is uncalled for.
WHY?!
Even though I clearly expressed trust in Danjuma (based on his track record), he is not infallible and his HUMAN judgment is not beyond scrutiny or otherwise sacrosanct. Abegi, we Nigerians should desist from this “Rankadede” culture, which is largely why Nigerian rulers sh*t all over the population. The Falconets is not anyone’s personal property, and folks in positions of public trust should be subject to the scrutiny of those who pay their bills!
GOOD LUCK GIRLS!!
9jaRealist,
I benefit nothing from virtual duels. If you cannot stomach responses to your comments, perhaps you have to question your sensitivity. You seem to me like one of those people who enjoy mouthing others only to buckle when the same is done to you.
Your own grasp on ‘capacity for elementary comprehension’ is perhaps what you need to address before trying to remove specks from someone else’s eyes. I never said you were disapproving of the coach’s overall selection. Rather I singled out the two players you mentioned as being inconsequential to the capacity of the team to engineer success or succumb to failure.
On the issue of Comfort Folorunsho, the so called experience you claim she has didn’t fall from heaven. She was given the chance to accumulate that experience just as her exclusion now paves the way for others to accumulate the experience and benefit the whole team in the long run.
I have no beef with you my brother but should you come on strong and insulting with me as you did above, I will not be turning the other cheek.
You can turn your arse cheek for all I care. SMH
No problem 9JaRealist,
Have it your way. You are warned. Mess with me and you will have your arse cooked and fed back to you.
Our teams now parade great quantities of strikers.Sometimes more numbers than necessary, especially since Eguavoen assumed office as director of football and his penchant for 4-2-4 formation which our teams have acceded to and have struggled to carry out.
In my opinion one striker should have been swapped for a defender. We look light in the defence hoping the five defenders listed stays healthy.
Meanwhile,Burundi posed a difficult opposition thank God we were able to scale through even though by the skin of our teeth, victory nonetheless.
Tanzania may not pose a big threat and i’m sure we wont underestimate their strength.
The squad for this winners take it all double header is good enough to get the job done.
Good-luck girls we are right behind you by our unwavering support!!
Rather a striker omitted for a defender!
Bro, we are playing against Burundi.
We’ve already played Tanzania (btw, with Comfort Folorunsho scoring the decisive WINNING goal in Abuja…wink, wink, lol).
