Ibrahim Olawoyin and David Akintola both scored for Rizespor who defeated Trabzonspor 3-1 in the Turkish Super Lig on Saturday.
It was both Olawoyin and Akintola’s first goals in the league this season.
Akintola scored to put Rizespor 2-1 ahead in the 71st minute before Olawoyin added the third goal with nine minutes left.
The two players were then taken off in the 90th minute of the game.
Last season Olawoyin school scored eight goals in 36 league games for Rizespor.
On his part, Akintola managed just one goal in 13 appearances last term.
With the victory, Rizespor move out of the relegation spot and are now in 12th on 13 points.
