Udinese manager Igor Tudor hopes William Troost-Ekong will be fit enough to face Brescia in Saturday’s Serie A home clash against Brescia, Completesports.com reports.
Troost-Ekong missed last weekend’s 1-0 away defeat to Inter Milan at the Stadio Guissepe Meaza after picking up injury on international duty with Nigeria.
The centre-back has however trained fully with his teammates this week and is set to return to the squad for the game against Brescia.
Tudor provided updates on the defender’s fitness situation and that of Stephen Okaka during his interaction with the media on Friday afternoon.
“They have been training all week, let’s see if we can use them. It is important for them to be there because we need everyone in three games in a few days,” Tudor told reporters.
Troost-Ekong has made two league appearances for Udinese this season.
