Ten-man Arsenal defeated struggling Burnley 3-1 at the Emirates in Saturday’s Premier League game to go level on same points with Manchester City.
Leandro Trossard, who opened the scoring one minute into first half added time, netted Arsenal’s 1,000th goal at Emirates Stadium since they moved there in 2006.
Bukayo Saka headed towards Trossard at the far post while the Belgian kept his eye on the ball despite being challenged to nod home from close range.
Burnley equalized through a deflected Josh Brownhill effort in the 54th minute.
Arsenal were back in front on 57 minutes thanks to William Saliba who headed home Trossard’s corner.

On 74 minutes Oleksandr Zinchenko made it 3-1 as he improvised brilliantly to volley into the top corner.
Minutes later Fabio Vieira was shown a straight red card for a dangerous challenge.
The Gunners move up to second on 27 points, same points as Manchester City, who will take on Chelsea on Sunday.
In other results Manchester United pipped Luton 1-0 and Crystal Palace lost 3-2 at home to Everton.
