Super Eagles defender William Troost-Ekong is back in training with Udinese after missing last Saturday’s Serie A clash against Inter Milan as result of injury, Completesports.com reports
Troost-Ekong copped the injury on international duty with Nigeria with Udinese not providing details on the setback after the match.
The centre-back was replaced by Chidozie Awaziem late in the 2-2 friendly draw against Ukraine.
“Good news for coach Igor Tudor, who after Stephen Okaka also recovers William Troost-Ekong. The Nigerian defender has eliminated the muscular fatigue he had in the National team and today he played both training sessions from start to finish together with his companions,”reads a statement on the Udinese’ s website.
Troost-Ekong has made two league appearances for Udinese this season.
He is now in line to be named in Nigeria’s squad for next month’s international friendly against Brazil.
Igor Tudor’s men will host Brescia in their next league match at home on Saturday.
