New Zealand centre Malakai Fekitoa has agreed a summer move to Premiership side Wasps from Toulon. Fekitoa has played 24 games for the All Blacks and will make the move to England at the end of the Top 14 season in France. Wasps have confirmed the news on their website, although they do not say how long the length of the contract is but they will not lose him to international action as New Zealand do not select players playing abroad.

Fekitoa believes he’s joining a side that can enjoy future success, although they will have to improve upon their form from the season so far as they sit down in sixth place in the Premiership, 22 points adrift of leaders Exeter Chiefs. “Wasps are a team that play an exciting brand of rugby and are very ambitious,” said Fekitoa. “Hopefully I can help them push forward and achieve silverware in the next few years.”
