Super Eagles winger, Samuel Chukwueze has disclosed that Arsenal midfielder, Granit Xhaka is the toughest player he has ever faced in the Europa League.
The Nigerian international who is expected to be on the starting lineup in today’s Europa League final against Manchester United stated this during an interview with UEFA’s official website.
Chukwueze played a key role in Villarreal’s 2-1 victory against Arsenal in the Semi-Final of the competition.
He noted that Xhaka never gave him too much space to really exploit the Arsenal defence and was a tough nut for him.

“It was (Granit) Xhaka.
“He was man-to-man marking me. He didn’t give me space.
“He was just very close to me, and I couldn’t move an inch.”
He added: “It was dramatic against Arsenal. This is my first time reaching the Europa League final. I used to watch them on TV. I can’t wait to be there.”
