Everton defender Luke Garbutt and attacker Korede Adedoyin have joined Ipswich and Hamilton on respective season-long loan deals. Garbutt, who joined the Toffees from Leeds United in 2009, is no stranger to loan spells and last featured for the first team under Roberto Martinez in 2015.

He has since had temporary spells with Fulham, Wigan Athletic and Oxford United as well as earlier moves to both Cheltenham Town and Colchester United. Nigeria-born teenager Adedoyin scored 11 times in 17 under-18 games for Everton last term, having been with the club since he was 10.
Hamilton head coach Brian Rice says the 18-year-old will “learn a lot” during his time in the Scottish Premiership. “It’s fantastic to be attracting young talent from Everton. It gives me options in the attack,” Rice said.
