Nigeria’s badminton star Anuoluwapo Opeyori lost in straight sets against Switzerland’s Tobias Kuenzi in his first game at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
Opeyori, who is Team Nigeria’s captain fought hard in the first set but lost 22-20.

The 27-year-old also lost the second set 21-14.
The 2024 African Games gold medalist will face World’s no 3, China’s Shi Feng Li in the second group game on Wednesday.
Opeyori must win the contest to avoid an early exit from the Olympics.
He is making his second appearance at the Olympics.
