Nottingham Forest are closing in on signing Arsenal’s Eddie Nketiah after the striker agreed to personal terms, according to tribuna.com.
The club’s initial £25 million bid, including add-ons, was rejected by Arsenal, who are seeking a higher fee of £30-35million
Negotiations are ongoing, with Forest pushing to finalize the deal.
Nketiah was previously linked to French Ligue 1 giants Marseille but the transfer fell through due to a price disagreement.
Crystal Palace has also expressed interest but is not currently in advanced talks with Arsenal.
Nketiah has scored 38 goals in 168 appearances for Arsenal and would provide a valuable addition to Forest’s attack, alongside Chris Wood and Taiwo Awoniyi.
He did not feature in Arsenal’s 2-0 win against Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Emirates stadium at the weekend.
